This is (or was) a competition for which, if I recall correctly, you're ineligible if you´ve ever been in an ACT team or placed in an ACT championships (it´s usually run the same weekend as the nationals). Always seems a bit incongruous when it's won, as sometimes happens, by a veteran who´s been competing for 20 or 30 (or more) years. |
