Ratlaf: Wow! I'm glad youre OK...!!!!!! I've been hit by a car too but it wasn't as extreme as what you described. Did the person who hit you get a ticket? Will they pay to replace any damages to you or your bike...?

Torino: Yes, the woman who hit me was really upset and shaking like an aspenleaf. She was very concerned, but I did not feel that we needed the police nor the ambulance. It must have looked dramatic like a stuntwoman in James Bond, but you know, the hood is actually quite soft ;-)). Only the pavement scraped open my skin to big "raspberries".
I seem to have a little whiplash as well because I could not raise my head out of the pillow this morning. I'll check another day or two, but I guess things will be fine.

szurcher: OH MY... that's aweful!! I hope you are okay. It must have been scary. Keep an eye on how your neck feels, if it gets worse, go to the doctor. Is you bike ok?

Torino: Yes, my neck feels better today (Friday), I could lift it off the pillow! And my bike seems undamaged!! It flew through the air, but as it was so light, nothing worse happened.
Today, I got a strange pain though in my left forearm down from where a big piece of skin has been missing. But I'll check some more whether it clears up as well.

Ratlaf: Hmmm, with accidents the injuries might not show up on the day, which is why, when I was hit, I had a police report filed and everything. It turned out I was fine, but you never know, especially on the scene because your body might be in a little bit of shock still. I'm glad you're OK, I just hope there's no long term damage from this!
