| coach: | This race benefits the US JUnior Team. It's a good race for orienteerers as it is lots of ups and downs and really rocky trail. Roadies won't go near it, and many trail runners stay away.
Listed in the events. |

| vmeyer: | It is under "Running" events, not Orienteering, so you'll need to change that choice on your drop down list to see it.

| coach: | Exactly, at least some people know how to navigate this website.
We have never reached our limit of 100 runners, but it's not worth having runners show who complain about the rocky trail, or get lost because they can't follow the trail markings. There are a group of trail runners who show for this race every year for the last 12 years. One complained a few years ago the 1.2 miles of jeep road was too easy. We raise about $300 for the Team and $300 for the Friends of the Blue Hills, who help us at the race. If you like hills and trails, you'll enjoy it, and get a good workout. |
