MTBjen: How far would you have ridden if you weren't injured?? :)

#  Posted 2008-07-08 21:53:32
nicki: Probably too far, and then I would have been caught in the really bad storm that blew through in the afternoon. Rain, hail, thunder, lightening and even a small tornado that touched down..... The weather is crazy in the mountains at this time of the year. I'm looking forward to the much more predictable days of Perth.

markg: What's happening to Montreal??

MTBjen: Tornados? I should stop complaining about the bit of rain we had this morning

nicki: Montreal?......I've got 3 magic words - taping, iboprufen and adrenalin.
Oh... and I'm finally going to be a TV star because CBC are going to follow Jim and I around for the show. I was on the phone for over 2 hours with the producers today.....urh, I wonder if that's a sign of things to come.

markg: hahaha, sucker. You'll be doing pre-race interviews for years ...

#  Posted 2008-07-09 21:14:51
BillJarvis: 2 hours!! Dave was right about you being the person most obsessed about this race LOL

nicki: And then I got held up for 30 minutes of torturous questions in Bragg Creek by the Radio Canada lady in Montreal who wants me to come in for a radio interview. Man they ask dumb questions. I was just trying to enjoy my mid-ride coffee!
