Rosco: 7 hours more than me!

#  Posted 2008-07-08 16:43:39
Jon X: Not as many as Lard or Dixie though.....

#  Posted 2008-07-08 16:59:53
Lard: Wow! Now that is a challenge!
Consider it one of my goals!

Anyone doing the Carnethy Hill race tomorrow?

#  Posted 2008-07-08 18:04:34
Rosco: Naw more tempted by the Newburgh 5 or even Meadows 2. How have you done 15 hrs more training than me?!

#  Posted 2008-07-08 18:10:13
hel vino: ~33 hrs less than me, thanks for the prompt to discover the "reports" functionality, niice month by month yearly graphs etc all making my own geekery (complicated excel spreadsheets) defunct :(

#  Posted 2008-07-09 16:40:40
Becks: Come to the Carnethy Race, it's ages since I had any o' chat!

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:10:13
Alibongo: Can't decide whether to do Carnethy or not after my last hill race fiasco/embarrassment. It's supposed to rain later but the Pentlands look clear at the moment. Decisions decisions...

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:13:11
Lard: I've agreed to go see Jamie and have tea with the family, so that rules me out.

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:18:13
Alibongo: Not seen the FVO posse apart from Janine for ages, are the Longhursts still in Portugal? Is Beccy running or recovering?

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:20:18
Jon X: I am still on recovery mode this week, no race tonight for me (might have been different if Carnethy race was in the Bog and Burn series and Lard was going.....!!)

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:21:11
Becks: You lot are all rubbish!

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:23:41
Alibongo: Very wise. I'm entered for the Crieff 10K on Sunday and would probably do myself a mischief by doing both in one week.

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:32:52
Alibongo: Well said, party poopers! There's a race next week so maybe folk will be at that. Becks, if you want to join the FVO posse for some training/o chat on a Wed, give me shout as I travel out of Edinburgh after work and back to Linlithgow.

#  Posted 2008-07-09 17:40:12
Jon X: Yes good plan - come to Maddy Moss race next Wednesday Becky! Aren't the two of us due a race anyway??

#  Posted 2008-07-09 18:44:31
hel vino: You should definitely run Maddy Moss. Maybe my favourite B&B? Although I only ran it once & it was extremely hot & I nearly died, probably.

#  Posted 2008-07-09 18:58:56
Jon X: Although you were at least first woman for your trouble!

#  Posted 2008-07-09 19:26:39
hel vino: hmm except i think the prize was some duck pate (which i gave away in lieu of petrol money). nice pub near the parking tho..

#  Posted 2008-07-09 19:29:46
Lard: Mmmm, did the pub sell pies?

#  Posted 2008-07-09 20:43:09
hel vino: possibly. now you are making me really jealous.. hill racing, affordable beer AND pies..

#  Posted 2008-07-10 17:05:10
paw: Don't they have pies in Norway? Or are they all filled with pickled herring or something?

#  Posted 2008-07-10 17:14:10
Jon X: Here you go Helen - looks like they have a national pie! Serves 12 so maybe would even satisfy Lard!

#  Posted 2008-07-10 18:28:37
paw: Yum!

#  Posted 2008-07-10 19:14:16
Lard: I'm gonna be a "Son of Norway" and enjoy that pie.
Get your own!

#  Posted 2008-07-11 15:05:17
Becks: Ha ha, I just looked at the Maddy Moss fell race details. Not a chance in hell my legs would manage that one at the moment! Next year Mr X, next year.

#  Posted 2008-07-11 15:17:05
hel vino: It must be a lie, there are no pies in Norway. They only eat bread, fish and liver pate.
