| kadley: | Good times. 400 repeats are an effective way to wake up the fast twitch muscles and get your speed back. One session a week ought to do it for you. Be interesting to see how the times improve week to week.
The idea is to run them all at the same pace, or even increase as you go along. I usually quit when my times drop off, or the decline is imminent. I'm happy to do 6 or 8 repeats, although that's too many at first. And of course, I'd be really happy to do some in 75 sec (are you sure the track isn't a hundred meters short?). |
