I read another sad story today: a father left his "newly adopted" 21-month-old son in his SUV yesterday, for "most of the day" with tragic results. He was supposed to drop him off at daycare but went to work instead. I suspect he forgot, not being in the routine. I was holding my breath waiting to read what country the boy was adopted from: Russia. The Russians will be all over this & it'll be another reason to not allow international adoptions. Very sad for the family. Poor father must feel horrible. |
