mhiat: Surely?

#  Posted 2008-07-14 19:05:40
Lard: Oh aye.
How's your training going??

#  Posted 2008-07-14 20:12:27
mhiat: Entered LDMT on 14/09 as an incentive and have a week of being coached at Lagganlia - just under 2 weeks to go. However, chocolate supplies have a rather large dent in them. Stewie is great at squealing at me for being a ***!
Enjoy Slovenia, when are you leaving? Was going to ask to stay on 24/07 en route to Lagganlia, but realized you are holidaying.

Lard: Woooo, a serious undertaking.
Lagganlia should be fun - if not then make it fun!
Stewie - just threaten to pack him off here (we just eat gruel here).
Leaving Saturday for Slovenia - a few days in the Julian Alps before the competition starts.
You would have been most welcome to stay....

Alibongo: It's not Stewie eating the chocolate is it?

#  Posted 2008-07-15 02:06:08
mhiat: Of course not, that's why he squeals when he goes to the choccie supplies

forest gump: Surely training should be measeured in quality not quantity (speaking from someone who does neither). A goal of doing 366 hours in 1 year isn't really that productive nes pa???

mhiat: A much more interesting proposition would be to only count training with an intensity of 3 or more. I know stretching etc is valid, useful & important blah, blah, blah; but I never think of 'training' incorporating warm ups/downs, stretching etc as I view these as preparation! The total hours then prove to be a bit different!
