z-man: Nice, you can practice all that downfall in the Forest Park now.

GregBalter: I will bring a hand saw from my work so I can start cleaning some smaller trees, got to claim my trails back from nature.
As far as winning - team of Francis Falardou and Ernst Linder was the closest to us, but they had bad luck at night in some real nasty downfall area, and I think strategically going south first was a better plan - most of the climb in the south was done in the forest, were most of the climb in the north was on roads and trails - easier for tired legs; what I was surprised after doing all the measurements that our actual land speed has not changed for all 22 hours. Vadim did not believe me - due to the blister pain and muscle pain he felt we were going slower - I, for my part, did not agree with that.

z-man: "a hand saw", I would suggest a chain saw unless you are ready for some muscle pumping - blister getting action with that thing :)

GregBalter: I said smaller trees :)

GregBalter: SPEEDYGOATS - I like that name

(z-man)

speedy: So far, the name does NOT reflect a real "speed" we traveled through, but if I get better, then it is going to be very SPEEDY.
