Lunsen is great! And so is that #2 ranked man! I have used to run night orienteering there during the winter and I agree, it is certainly not the easiest terrain. But it is fun and good training!

Yeah, as I said, I really enjoyed that long run last night! Before the Lunsen run, there was a club planning session, talking about relays and prioritizing some races over others. There was a big, long discussion about how relay runners should be chosen, with lots of people saying all sorts of stuff (including one person suggesting two even teams instead of having the first team built to try and win!). This really surprised me, since I imagine they go through this process every year, with pretty much the same results. I mentioned it to Mats later, and he agreed, saying that Swedes like to discuss and make sure that everyone's opinions are heard, even though changes aren't actually made. Sounds a bit like the Soviet Union i remember. :)

Lunsen is the most technical place I've ever orienteered. Recovery is almost impossible. Too bad I can't find map the map in my Sweden file. Must have given it to someone else who was going to Sweden.
