Bash: I am SO jealous!! It's great to hear that ski conditions are good somewhere. We'll have to get up to Duntroon one of these days.

hammer: Green wax. I didn't bother buying that colour for Emma's wax kit. Remember polar? Last time I used that was the Muskoka Loppet 25 years ago.

Bash: I like polar, but I haven't used it since a trip to Quebec more than 10 years ago.

Sudden: Duntroon is a great place. And "snow safe". They got 5 cm of snow overnight, Sat to Sun. Nothing in Collingwood or Stayner 10 min away.

Nev-Monster: When I started working at ski stores here in Ottawa I looked at the Polar and made fun of it. Then we went through two winters in a row with -20 for weeks on end. Laugh if you dare!

theshadow: I know better than to laugh at the Polar.
I hear you are in a bit of a deep freeze at the moment in the nation's capital... a MERE -17 up here ;)
Did get a bit more snow so that is good.

Nev-Monster: We're now getting freezing rain, even though it's pretty chilly. I really don't know the science behind that...

Brent, what cold klister do you recommend?

#  Posted 2006-01-18 04:52:23
Bash: It's freezing rain an hour north of Toronto too. Rats.

theshadow: skare probably need some chola ironed in too if it is really icy.
I am from the Yukon though and I almost never use klister so i am likely not the best person to be giving this advice.

hammer: Ask Russ Evans.

Nev-Monster: As in, what was the top klister 20 years ago? Actually, before I say that, Rode Rossa, perhaps the best klister out there turns 50 this year, without Rode doing anything to it.
