| supersaint: | thinking you can help out, where can we watch live streaming of le tour. all i've been able to do is follow the text commentary on the main website. cracking race yesterday, always good when the break-away stay away. and no idea what pereiro was up to yesterday - muppet. |

| MK NXN: | The best place is on the ITV4 Tour de France website. You should be able to find it from ITV.com, you have do install some random microsoft plug-in to watch it. It's got the best commentary. All pictures are the same as the Tour do the filming themselves and then sell the pictures to people to commentate over the top, there are too many motorbikes out there anyway, would be crazy if every TV company had a crew!
If you are at a place that doesn't let you install the plug in, then go to www.steephill.tv, go to their Tour page, and scroll down to a big list of websites you can watch it on. Some are radio, some are text, some are video. Some are only available in certain countries. The "justin.tv" is the best on, it's live eurosport. Transmission doesn't start until about 1:30 normally. The "pop up TV" page is really good, it lets you select a video, commentary, and has a graphic showing where all the break aways and groups are, it can get a bit confusing when they split up into different groups and you're at the mercy of the tour TV director who changes camera randomly... http://64.38.0.10/2008/tour-de-france/ http://pop-up-tv.t35.com/ http://www.justin.tv/giac2007 |

| loefaas: | Except that ASO doesn't seem to hold what they've said. The riders caught this year for example, as long as they say that they did it by themselves and the team kick them out the team doesn't get punished at all? |

| MK NXN: | Yeah, it's strange. Last year Cofidis had to go home because of one guy, but this year teams are allowed to stay. Saunier-Duval have gone home because the manager thought it would be best. I wouldn't be surprised if Piepoli's test results come back as a fail after stage 10. |
