...dont you dig running the single track mt biking trail?....keeps you focused and its fun, watching your foot falls, dealing with the dips and maintaining a rythme...PERFECT training for SHT.... I think your current program will have you running the Moose Mountain marathon with ease with proper pacing...you should have a great time... A guy I teach with, who is 15 years older than me, told me this one time "I hear a lot of my friends tell me that when they retire, they are gona do this and that...I say "Dont Wait!"...if there is something you want to do then go do it....you never know what tomorrow is going to bring...why would you want to live your life "waiting"....I never forgot that... some people are going to wait untill they are: trained enough, fast enough, thin enough before they do _________ I suggeet saying "oh what the F...go do it any way" ...sounds like you are right on track... |

| Jerritt: | Yep. I just officially signed up. I feel good this morning, so I believe I can finish. One more long run the first weekend in August, then the Rogaine then to the race. I just need to do a little more running in between long efforts than I've done the last couple weeks.
Thanks for the encouragement. It might have been what actually pushed me over the edge of uncertainty. I am really looking forward to the race. |

| O Steve!: | ...I bet with that schedule you will be able to run a reasonable pace and have a great time.....if the day comes and you get to carve out more training time in the future you can go back and try to beat your time....but you seem to do very well with what you fit in so I think you will have a solid race... |
