Charlie: Looking back over your log, it seems like you have been having a pretty jolly time, with one exception. Is it the broken crockery that left you disappointed?

PG: No, I was just hoping the team would do better at WOC. They had done some hard work preparing, and it's disappointing when that doesn't translate into better results (which is sometimes just the way it is in orienteering, you never know when things will click or when they won't). At least they did well in the relay.

I'm curious to hear more about Samantha -- she had a real good relay time, and that included trashing one ankle pretty badly with maybe 15 minutes left. Must have taken some real guts to hang in there.

GregBalter: I share your feelings - I always thought that Eric shell be running last leg - he is the best closer we have, he tend to disagree with me on that, I would have Ross running first leg. I think we all expected better runs from Sandra, as well as she did. I do believe that team on the men's side shell be younger, but it is easier said than done, historically in US team trials experience beat the youth :)
