MDeVoll: I'm coming up to my one-year anniversary of logging on to attackpoint. One year with no serious injuries. Yeah for me! Also, I noticed that a year ago I was feeling good about finishing 6 miles for the first time in a while. Now I'm finishing 12 for a long run and looking forward to the first half-marathon in several years (did a couple back around 2000.)

Looking forward to the next year, I'd like to do the following:

Half-marathon this September (8:30 pace would be nice)
More navigation practice for the rest of the summer (would like to get out once a week, to practice pace counting on difference slopes, running fast while staying to a map, and improving memory, all doable in Forest Park, which is where I'll be most of the time if going out once a week is to be realistic) ...

all to get ready for o-meets in the fall and winter, when I'll ...

Maintain conditioning and improve navigation (more of the same, plus whatever seems needful then)
Continue running orange routes till I feel I can run them cleanly and fast

And for the spring

Participate in an A-meet at orange level, likely Flying Pig.
Participate in UCity Memorial Day 10K for a new PR
