| Kirkland: | It was humid but not too hot. I had a good, not great effort. The heavy canoe was a disadvantage but I expected that. I wound up doing one more control than all but one other team and I didn't expect that. I finished in the middle of the pack. I figured with no nav errors I might have finished higher but ultimately it was pace. I'm so used to 24 hour pace that I didn't push this as I should have. I still had fun. |
