| cmpbllv: | Very nice pics! Sabino Canyon is one of the places I remember scaring up the most snakes when I lived out that way...never seemed to be that many in Huachuca Canyon, just lots of turkeys. But the picture is a nice touch.
I was actually a little worried about seeing snakes on my run out in the training area this afternoon - a week and a half ago, we set up a patrol base on a hilltop about a mile away, and found 3 snakes within about 5 mins - no timber rattlers, just a big ol' black rat snake and two smaller garter snakes...but that was one of the random fears that flitted through my head when I spaced out and ended somewhere I didn't plan to be. Lucky for me, no critters. Just lots of blueberries! |
