I noticed the poison ivy on the edges of that trail, especially on the top of the hill section (with leaves hanging over the trail at mid calf height). Be sure to let the kids know to clean up well after running there... And I was amazed to see a very large tree next to the parking lot with thick poison ivy vines reaching up 20-30' all around it... You'd think the park would do something about that in the park proper. |
