I've logged 102 for the month. The Anza-Borrego meet was a good way to build the control count. Also, I think I've done a few street-O controls while on a training run that I forgot to log. I need to hit more than 102 per month if I am going to approach the 1500+ totals that some people mentioned in the New Year 100's thread.

Looks like I'm at 205 for the month. Yesterday's 41 control extraveganza didn't hurt. Testing legs for short course racks up the total as well.

Wow. That's double what I've done. How many cp have Swisscheese, Hammer, and others visited?

Since I'm lazy about logging control numbers, precision would require looking at some maps but I'm fairly certain I hit 120 to 130 controls during the Hamilton training camp. With two QOC meets since then and the training day this past Saturday (thanks Peggy and Nadim) my total should now stand slightly over 190 - not bad considering no course setting was involved. February will almost certainly be less impressive even if the course setters in Florida decide to max out every M21's SI card at every opportunity.

I am at a paltry 77.

Actually, that's not really out of line for me. Last year was down, but from 2001-2004 I've been around 2000 controls/year. You'd think I'd be getting good at this by now, but you'd be wrong.

I should note that I count all controls, even those hit in training when there's no actual control flag. Some people only count controls that are set by others.

Zero. But I count only race controls.

i seem to have orienteered ten days this month (according to my training log calendar!). Supoosing an average of over 20 controls per day i'd be up over 200. Only one course did not have controls flags in the terrain.

I'm aiming at orienteering at least twice a week on average (or every week?) from now until the summer. It's a pity my physical training is lagging behind for the moment after an unproductive winter.

I'm at 170, but the training camp helped a bit

I logged 131 not that it helped much...

Only 77, Boris? You should consider moving to Sweden so that you can orienteer more.

Oh, and I'm up to 119 after yesterday's map training run.

257. Though the quality on some of the O' sessions wasn't high. Maybe Boris should move to Kansas.

21. This is off season! Time to rest, recuperate (injured tho I am) and de tox from a year of O. Base build, get ready, think nice thoughts, ignore strange misunderestimations from within the Beltway, enjoy winter - if it ever arrives again. Boris - you're doing fine. There's a long season ahead for you, and many more. Plan accordingly.
