I swear this magpie swooped me for like 400m when I was running. I ended up stopping and getting a stick and hitting the bird. (also chucked rocks at it). what a persistant magpie!

George: evil. that's for sure. i woulda been too scared to stop and do anything like that. maybe if one follows me when i'm not on a bike i'll get my bag and swing it round my head, simultaneously yelling wild war cries :P sounds funnn

blairtrewin: I once had a magpie chase me down Mugga Way all the way from Girls Grammar to Boys Grammar (for non-Canberrans that's about 1.5k).
