Discussion: Parking Warning

The parking facilities at Mt. Tom are going to be extremely tight, and any carpool arrangements by participants will be greatly appreciated. We have received permission to utilize roadside parking in some areas, and it is hoped that this will allow us to park all vehicles in relatively close proximity to the Finish areas on both days. In the event of an overflow, more remote parking areas will be opened, and a van will be used to shuttle competitors to the Registration/Start areas. HOWEVER, OUR PLAN IS TO ACTIVATE THE VAN ONLY IF WE ARE UNABLE TO PARK CARS CLOSE TO THE FINISH AREAS. Please do not park remotely (without your own plans for transportation to the Start) unless you are directed to do so by the Parking Staff.
Day 1 Parking will be centered around the West end of Reservation Road at the top of the hill. Day 2 Parking will be centered around the Lake Bray parking area on the East end of Reservation Road. Competitors with later starting times are encouraged to leave some additional time to get to the Start in case remote parking will be in use when you arrive.
