OK, now that I stumbled across this area-
Harriman was good and the people that attended are cool ;)
The first 2 days saw Greg in coach mode-

Day 1: Morning: "butterfly loops" - 6 1.2-1.7 K courses to be completed in 20 minutes (If you were faster, you got bonus rest)
Later: Track intervals (4x800) featuring map memory
Later yet: Watched the Naked Gun and celebrated Ellen O's B-Day

Day 2: Partner exercise - run a course ~8.0 K with a partner, discussing the route the whole way.
Later:
Hill workout 8x200 with the map memory exercise from the day before.

Day 3:
Don't know, 'cause I wasn't there.

Day 3:
Follow-the-leader on Rockhouse map. Memorize next leg while following, then lead without the map. 4 km, Greg/Pam/Eddie, 2 legs each.
Then went for a 1:58:00 trail run on the Surbridge map. ~14km. They made me eat goo. It was nasty.

Had a great time though! Weather was excellent. I still have half of that watermellon in my fridge.

Question: Was this the first ever active discussion thread on AP?

Based on Ken's first line, I believe so.

I think this was the first topic in the general discussion area (as opposed to comments about an event).
