I ran from 8 to finish on Sunday with Carl - it was the best foot race to the finish in recent history for me. I noticed the following - he needs to develop confidence in his skills, I think he can navigate at very high speed, reading the map while running - that has to be worked on, planning in advance - is another area. And as always, the basic but sometimes neglected skill - precise compass work.

Thanks, I was wondering when I saw from the splits that you were with him. Seeing as he is just 15, there are possibilities, as well as with both the Childs boys.

I know Andrew is very solid and has a great attitude. I go to work with him at the training camp recently.
