sounds like a great guy: " you're training is rubbish"
did he explain why a time trial was a complete waste of time ?
ask him, what is the purpose of a time trial ?

ask me.
- its to assess your fitess level.
why would you do that ?
- to work out the appropriate training and effort levels in order to maximise the benefit of subsequent training.
when would be a good time to work out just how much and how hard you should be training ?
- hmmm, I guess att he beginning of your training and at intervals along the way to your goal (maybe every 3 months)
So now would be a good time IMHO

Ok ok ok,
this is clearly Mick Woods we're talking about. He often says sweeping things like this as clearly anyone who does anything other than what he says is wrong. So long as we accept that he has a tendency to this, he is a good coach, and has coached Stef Twell to the heights she currently is...and also the rest of AFD running club.
Jules - I think that what you really need right now is to get to grips with your injuries and write down your training plan - once you have discussed things with Mick if necessary - but I want to see it on paper.

dont come onto my attackpoint lecturing me. its not nopesport. thats one of the reasons I didn't want to join attackpoint because I knew I'd get people butting in when I don't even know them?

hate to be confrontational, but well it frustrates me

no you don't know me
if you did perhaps you'd take my comments as advice, not a lecture.
unless your comments were directed at Jase and Sarah....

if you read what I said it was in support of you doing a time trial
and concern with any coach that announces that someone is wasting their time, that just undermines people.
please take note of Sarah's comments and don't let his approach undermine you.
