Discussion: American Birkebeiner Results

Some fellow orienteers skied in the 51km Birkie today. Searchable results are here. biggins finished in 3:19 - in the top 25% overall (he was skating). daddy-o, also skating, was 3:37. Brad Whitmore skiing classic took 4:33, which is about middle of the pack (so far...people are still finishing). Ruth Walker of "Pooks Plunge" fame (aka mommy-o), skied the Korte classic 26 km in 2:53.

Also I think TYRTOM is skiing a long race in Sweden this weekend (Vasaloppet?)

Congrats also to jerritt kicking butt freestyle in 2:58, MAJ going classic, taking 4th in age group in 4:14, and O Steve! freestyle in 3:51... Great job guys - I could only dream of skiing that far that fast! No log details yet...
