Were you mad at the people who didn't shovel, or just frustrated that it hadn't melted yet?
I enjoyed running in the snow, but I'm glad it's mostly gone now. Once it got slushy or icy it ceased to be fun to run on.
I am mad that it hasn't melted completely yet. The sidewalks which this is the case are the ones near busy roads where I am forced to run on them. I just don't like the snow when it starts freezing over and the footing becomes slick and uneven. I ran at lake youngs the other day and we finished the last mile in about 10min pace.
Okay, I think I understand. Lake Youngs is a nice trail under normal conditions. I ran one of my first 50k runs there several years ago, and I think it was the first under 5 hours.
