| MrPither: | Hey Brent, that looks like an awesome exercise. Some really good route choice legs there. I'd be very curious to know your splits for both runs. My route choices were a combo of each, a few more from the 2nd. Good training! |

| theshadow: | I like the course a lot. You can tell that Katta put a lot of thought into it.
Taking splits was kind of pointless as this was in shin deep snow and the first one was in the summer... it would be good to compare them. It will be interesting to see what others think...Best route by committee instead of actually running it. |

| Bender: | I too loved this exercise and also found I picked a combination of both runs. I'd make a route choice and look at what you did. Pither - could we get an Armchair-O exercise like this going on the Canadian Team Blog? |

| theshadow: | Pippa had some interesting comments. She said that she went really far around to the left and followed the yellow into the control for #7 and it was faster than Charlotte who went the same way as I did this last time (to the right).
The second comment which I thought was good was for #9 She went fairly straight like I did, which she said would have been very slightly faster if she had executed perfectly, but she got confused by the detail coming into the control. Charlotte followed the ridge around to the right, which is further but very simple and beat her to the control. Lesson: Route choice should also take into account risk and ability. Play to your strengths and minimize risk. |
