Discussion: Carpooling to Ran it Granite

I'm trying to decide whether I should fly or drive to the a-meet in March. If I'm driving I'd be leaving Thursday evening from Stratford CT and staying in Baltimore or with a friend in DC. I may be skipping the Friday sprints to visit a friend in DC and then would be heading back on Sunday. I was wondering if anyone is looking for a ride so that I don't have to do the drive by myself, otherwise I'll probably fly.

If I go, it will be into BWI early Sat morning and out of BWI Sun evening. Hoping to make it, but a week before Flying Pig it will be tough for me to take any time out of town.

I am looking to share room / car as well for Saturday night. I arrive at BWI early Sat morning, and fly out from BWI Sunday 5:16 PM

I'm arriving at IAD Friday morning and flying out Sunday evening. Haven't made any specific car or room arrangements yet.

I landing at BWI Friday morning; if anyone has room and is in Maryland that morning a ride would be greatly appreciated.

John, I can drive you the rest of the weekend, just not airport pickup as we are arriving late Thursday night. My flight leaves Sunday night so I was thinking of going back to the airport around 6 pm Sunday.

I will be landing Friday Morning at 9:10 and will be departing at 6:35 Sunday, both at BWI.

John, if you don't get a better offer, then I am can do a detour to the airport for you on Friday morning on my way to the meet site, especially if you have a cell phone to help coordinate things that morning.
Of course, this means that you will be stuck at the meet site from ~10 until the events begin at 1 PM, and you will probably be forced into helping with the meet setup. :) Or if some of your peers are staying at one of the Rt 100 hotels in Columbia, I can drop you there on the way by. Shoot me an email, if you are interested.

I am arriving BWI/SW air Fri at 1155 - expect to rent car, drive direct to sprints. No accommodation plans yet. Tried campsite suggested but not open for tents til 4/1. Not interested in $100/night for single motel fee. Depart BWI/SW air @3:30 Sun (would need to be there 2:30). If any above can dovetail with this, esp accommodations, get in touch here or boblux@mac.com. Possibly could pick up at BWI Sat am but at this time don't know start time etc
