I can't imagine going from no running to an hour on a treadmill! And I thought you were injured, and would ease into it..... What am i missing?
It's certainly possible that I overdid it, but about 30 of those 73 minutes were done at a walking pace as warm up/down. Last Thursday I had a similar workout where I jogged 4 miles. I also was able to jog the O' course on Saturday, so in my mind I had progressed to 2 days/week of jogging at ~40min each time.
Yesterday I decided half way thru to increase the jog portion to 5 miles. @8:57/mi (My normal running pace is around 7:45/mi) it came out to be 45min or so - a 10% increase from the previous week. Maybe 4.5mi would be more sensible.
I should probably switch back to the run program that has me run every other day, but only for 30-35min at a time.
