Socks are so expensive these days! (no, really)

hmmm... I obviously buy socks in the wrong place (and I know I do, they wear out so fast probably cuz they are cheapies) it's more just the sheer volume of purchases that freaked me out. But I'm better now :)

some models are good, some are not very durable. thats why i got the thick hiking socks for running and cycling. The last running specific pair i bought dveloped a hole on the ball of the foot very quickly - and they have discontinued that model. for some reason it can be 85 out, and i can be comfortable in thick wool socks.
