Oddly enough, although the doc told me this should make no difference, things got better with my bladder and running when I started doing situps regularly (more so than the other ideas they came up with) in preparation for my physical fitness test. Granted, it was worse in the short term (those muscles were fatigued and things gave way faster), but better after a couple of weeks. I also stopped drinking caffeine before running (grrr) and hit the woodline early and often while I was waiting for things to snap back into shape. It did happen eventually, though. Good luck!

Thanks for the ideas!

I've had some good discussions with women about this, the men tend to be less communicative -- or maybe just none of the guys I've talked to do anything close to running, except for my good friend Dave who went through this about 3 or 4 years ago and is just fine now, but no use because he can't remember any of the details.... :-)

Interesting. You might to try pilates then as that has been a real workout on the abs and core.
