Was very slow and gained an excellent lesson in navigation, in thick mist where you could only see 10 feet ahead. Use your compass or else!
Crikey, did you get lost?
Momentarily - but relocated and the mist lifted!! Was a good lesson to learn - No good having your compass in your rucksack. Thus no time to do Wetherlam which we had planned - 4 dogs whimpered as they had to pick their way / slide down scree fields etc Much happier on a gentler gradient &/or path. However I now plan to try and do some navigating in thick mist on purpose - it's a whole new world - very small.
