May we watch the Timila on your computer this weekend?

Yes, we may. May we try to do some training on the way up tomorrow? Harriman? I think we will have my new car! I printed the meet notes, so you don't have to.

Harriman sounds good. It seems as if it's been decades since I've been there.

Look for some maps. I'll look, too. And...I have my new car!!

What happened to your old car?
Apr 17, 2009 2:42 AM #
It is...old. Plus, I thought a little economic stimulation was in order. Plus, it's beautiful!

Old? OLD?!! What year is it? How many miles did you put on it?
(Appeal of the newcomer notwithstanding.)

2003 and 160K

That's not old. But what's the exciting new chariot?
Apr 17, 2009 9:39 PM #
Yeah, that's not old. I don't really think of my car (1999) as old, though it has the same mileage as your old one.
So, did you replace it with a van? A Smart Car? A Hummer??

A Jetta Sportwagen. It's diesel and is supposed to get 41 mpg. We got 39 on the drive up today.

I also make no excuses...I love new cars and probably get more than my fair share. The Matrix is the longest I've ever kept a car.

My Matrix (well, Vibe) is the same year, but with 60000 more miles, and I'm definitely shooting for 300K. I have a friend who has two VW diesels (Golf for him, Jetta for his wife) and loves them. VW's service reputation isn't so great these days, but here's hoping that all goes smoothly for you. Looking forward to seeing it. What color? Post a picture!

I think it might be gray (I'm not too good with colors).
