Control 7 was pretty badly done - John told me after his run but I didn't have time to write "north of fence" on every map. I should have told the starter though. You weren't the only one!

Yes 7 was very hard to read and my old eyes still cannot see a stair even in bright lights and my reading glasses - Henry says he can see it. I was lucky and took the route along the oval - unlike Chris GS who got really caught up as the gate West of 8 was locked and his recovery plan did not work.

Having the control descriptions only on the map is also a hassle and separate descriptions would be better than folding and unfolding the map (not that I can be bothered so I rarely check the descriptions). Maybe a control site a little bit away from the fence would have been a better option.

No worries. I liked getting the second place prize, so you could say you did me a favour. Hopefully you will have forced Cath to try and defend her win and make the womens competition stronger. I'm really enjoying the series, and great work on the website too. Thanks.
