j-man: I think feet should augment his dissertation with an excursus concerning the productivity dampening effects of the advent of AP. I think some sort of structural model is called for.

eddie: Directions to the 'tute

So, I-83 S from I-695 ~5 miles to Cold Spring lane. Go left (E) on Cold Spring...you may see a few small signs for Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus - thats the place. Cold Spring crosses Falls rd and climbs a hill. At the top of the hill, turn rt at the light onto Roland Ave. (There is "no turn on red" here and there is a camera, so beware) Bear left at the next light onto University and wind downhill along the divided road there. At the 4th light (last 3 in quick succession), turn rt onto San Martin Dr. If you see a small stadium on your right you've just missed it, U-turn and go back. Our building is the tan brick one - first building on your right. Pull into the driveway at the building entrance and park temporarily there anywhere you can. Go inside the lobby and I'll either meet you there or just tell the receptionist you are there to see me and she'll call upstairs. Then she'll either give you a parking pass or I can let you in the garage with my card. My office phone is 410-338-1018. I should be around. If they can't find me you can also try Brad, but if I know when you plan to arrive I can just wait for you in the lobby.

Best to shoot for 11:30AM if you can manage it, but we can sneak into the auditorium late if necessary.

There are actually a whole series of good talks today and tomorrow, as the Hubble Fellows Symposium is meeting this week. Bob's talk should be excellent. I can set you up with some posters and pics for your kid.

Sswede: Darn Randy, your post makes me hungry for a Duncun Donut, which is better than a Krispy Kreme anyday. I have to stay out of both places though, unless I want to look like the 700 lb woman on Dr Phil this week.
