Fantastic job at trials Eric. It is intersting to read your report on the race for Sunday. You capture many of the items that I have experienced when things start going wrong. I have some poison oak medicine in case you need it. I got some after the Gorge Winds training....

Yeah nice work Eric. And thanks for sharing those pluses and minuses.

Thanks, guys. Even though Sunday's run was disappointing, I am happy to have won the Team Trials, and two solid runs out of three isn't bad. In a way, it's probably good not to run as well as I would've liked, because now I really feel like I have my work cut out for me to get to the level where I can qualify for a final at WOC. That usually means a run of around 1150 world ranking points, which is about what Øystein Sørensen scored for winning the long race on Sunday.

Regarding the PO medicine, I think I'll contact my doctor about oral steroids tomorrow, because--while I can deal with the itching--I'm really tired of getting disgusting, weeping rashes that soak bandages and clothing with blood serum. That will mean I'll need to get a Therapeutic Use Exemption, but I think it's worth the hassle to avoid the rash.

Congrats, Eric. When do you find out which events you'll run at WOCs?

Nice list of positives and negatives, but what was the faster around route on 8? Ken's? What about right of the ravine?

I'm not sure how we're deciding who runs what this year, so I don't know when I'll find out. Based on what I experienced at the training camp, I'm most interested in relay, long and middle.

Yes, Ken and Eddie's route to the left is the faster one.
