By 2s too!!!! Again, for the nth consecutive event I am the first person with No fastest splits!

I watched and urged Danger on as he hammered the penultimate leg, then walked to the finish, amazing to think he was outrunned after watching him bolt it.

I just noticed I had the fastest split on 16 where Matrin McNiff was making me feel slow by outrunning me pushing the pram for most of the leg.

That's how he does it, the pram, of course. I always wondered how that little McNiff Jnr managed those times with his stumpy legs. Why, his legs are just a fraction longer than my stumps.

I started 30sec after M & J - I honestly don't know how James stays aboard. He deserves the prizes for his ability to hang in there while the pram does 360s.

My stumps. My stumps. My stumpy little stumps.

Oh dear, that's going to be in my head all day now.

M&J impressed all the watching triathletes with his punch at the last control that involved a push and turn of the pram, some independent rolling of the pram while Martin punched and then Martin re-engages with the pram that is still rolling in the new direction!
