In case you haven't heard yet, Thierry G. and his friends have booked flights to North America. They will arrive Oct 2nd and spend three weeks in New York and Canada. Unfortunately, they will not be able to compete in the U.S. Champs due to national championship events(sprint and night) in France.
The Boulder Dash is the first weekend in October in NH....
Sun Oct 11, the Hudson Highlander...
Sat Oct 17, WCOC Brooksvale...
Sun Oct 18, NEOC club champs...
Why bother with Canada?
Ok, well maybe, Oct 17-19, Ottawa O fesival...
Why bother with Canada?
Parce-que ici on parle francais!
Parle francais?
Do the French agree with that?
:-)
Theirry's schedule will likely include the training in the Harriman (with the US team), the Highlander, a visit to southern Ontario, and then the Ottawa O Festival (all still being finalized).
His visit to Ontario will kick-off an exciting year of orienteering in the province as Ontario will also have a few British team members run the Raid the Hammer in November, the Stars will host the Cdn. Ski-O Champs, Ottawa hosts next summer's Canadian Champs and GHO is holding their Golden Leaf O Fest on Thanksgiving in 2010.
I would like to know Theirry's schedule, where can I find it?
and if he is going to Ottawa Fest, I would go there too
(I was thinking about trip to US, but not if there is a World Champ in Canada :)
Hammer, if Triple team would have some bonus as a winner (Male team) of last year, we can race again :)
(Logvin S., Lucente M., Palagnyuk I.)
I can confirm Thierry G. and friends will take in the Hudson Highlander, some training in Hamilton and the Ottawa O Festival on their tour of NY and ON in October.
