Discussion: Norwegian Sprint Final -Route Choice

During the Sprint Final, there was this interesting leg from 16 to 17. There is one route choice that really isolates from the rest, and would save a lot of time. how would you run it?

Btw: the organizers told us before the race the "bridge" across the highway was a tunnel

What about first 30 m SE to go around the wall, then north up the curved road. Then right before the top of the curved road, cut straight east downhill through the forest, down the reentrant between the big cliffs, and then along the paved area eastwards under the bridge.

How does one get to the start? By rowboat?

ye.. would have gone on the route of the winning junior or cut north through forest to northern large paved area.

yes, through the forest was probably best. I didnt see it, but the guy starting a min behind me skipped 12, and caught up to me, and lead me to the route. Im sure thats the best, but some say that going north is almost as good.

there was motor boats driving us to start.
