| O Steve!: | I could see a Ian/Stephen Sizzling Senior Triathlon show down in the future...I think I would lead out of the swim, add a bit more time on the bike, only to see Ian roar back in the run to make it close...do you have a road bike Ian?...it would have to be a road triathlon to give me a chance...but with my lightning transitions I think I could take him....I would love to go at it at Manitou but the AR the day before makes it a no show for me...other places we could duel Ian???.... |

| iriharding: | maybe we could duel at square lake (the short one) in September(?). I seem to remember being a ways ahead at the Cheq fat tire in 2004 but of course that is off road bike and rough trail running.

Ian, it seems that people are gunning for you all over the place. See you tomorrow on that account, but you defintely have the advantage on a score-o format. the more decisions I have to make, the worse off for me. |

| iriharding: | decisions , decisions, ... yes let your mind wander. thoroughly weigh all the alternatives. In a score O with 21 control points there are at least 21! (21 factorial or several million different orders to go in and then factor in the route choices also ... .it's a wonder that anyone gets anywhere without a lot of thinking . i suggest you sleep on it ... a nap at the start of the course might help you decide and will leave you refreshed |

and in 2004 I ONLY ran in events due to injury...and I sucked on the mt bike...a bit better now...not a true test....I still need the fancy road bike to get er done.....perhaps the Freedom Tri July 4th at White Bear Lake...new triathlon...I think Jerritt could take us all at the Tri Loppet.....I think he has the bigger motor.... |
