The Board voted 2-8 with 1 abstaining on the question of submitting a bid to hold JWOC.

In other words, they did not support it.

Various changes in team rules were presented. Item was tabled to the next Board meeting because it had only been brought forward in the last couple of days and also needed to be checked by the Rules committee.

Does the refer to (or include) the proposed Interscholastic changes?

No, Interscholastic changes were a different proposal. They were also sent to committee.

On the Interscholastic changes, The Rules Committee is expected to report to the Executive Committee with recommendation and draft rules before Dec 31, 2009. The Exec Committee has been authorized to approve or disapprove the Rules Comm recommendation. Each of the 3 changes can be handled as a separate item. If the changes are approved, OCIN is prepared to implement them (or not) at the 2010 Interscholastics.

On proposals 1 and 2, OCIN expects to give some form of recognition to primary school teams, and to primary and intermediate club teams, even if these are not officially approved to be US Championship categories.
