Ken,

Loading up AP in IE 8 is bringing up dialogs about how my computer is infected with 50 billion bits of spyware blah blah blah. Clicking cancel brings up a link to http://bestscanada.com/index.php?affid=93001 which has some nice trickery to make it look like it's scanning your machine, and how I must install some more spyware to remove it blah blah.

If this is coming from one of your official ad suppliers....could you get them to stop, please? :) Doesn't seem to affect Firefox, I only found out when a friend had a minor heart attack after seeing it.

Nothing amiss here on either browser.

It's very humanitarian spyware - being Victorian is enough hardship, so it leaves you alone. :)

I've gotten a handful of those on here as well as a few other sites. They seem to be coming through the bannerconnect ads.

Dunno how it's happening, but has happened to me also... at work... when I should have been working...and I got the IT guy to come and look at it... Oh well.

Memory serving me correctly there has been a few discussions about this sort of stuff happening all over the intraweb, it was related to google adwords and wasn't site specific.

There was some way to contact google, but i didn't pay enough attention to the discussions to be of any use...

Apologies for this, it was not intentional on my part. I think it's junk coming through the bannerconnect ad service, which I've just shut off. it seems their "no junk" settings are not that reliable. Thanks for the report and let me know if it happens again.
