feet: No training, enthusiasm about the health care plan presumably going down, and beer. I take it you've been busy shopping for a truck and a gun? ;)

j-man: Enthusiasm about the health care plan going down? I'm not sure I understand that comment. Of course, I had no enthusiasm for it, so it can't go down.

I have been mulling over writing a brief tract about my thoughts on health care. Unfortunately, it borrows a bit much from Malthus and may be cold even by your standards.

feet: I meant, 'enthusiasm about the fact that the health care plan is going down in flames.'

hughmac4: Those are not 'truck and gun' kind of guy beers he's been drinking. Although I guess it depends on what kind of truck, and what kind of gun ...

j-man: I wonder if feet can appreciate that there are different sorts of beers? Some that are more readily identified with the 'truck and gun' crowd, some which aren't. I know that his knowledge base is wide, and indeed, he may even have his own tasting notes, but... I am not sure that he would be able to admit this and preserve his er... supercilious persona. ;)

hughmac4: And I do suppose I SHOULD have said those are not necessarily truck-and-gun-kind-of-guy beers, too. I shouldn't have made assumptions about the truck and gun world, which I'm not particularly privy to, even though I've owned both trucks and guns. And I brew beer as well, but your average (oh geez) truck-n-gunner probably wouldn't care for many of them. Maybe my Pils-N-Steam, that's a crowd pleaser. Of course I'm totally out (of beer) right now ... I WILL brew this weekend.

Wyatt: No training again. Maybe he's too busy researching which beers are which...
