| acjospe: | The moment you've been waiting for has finally arrived! Registration is open and live for the US Ski-o championships! Get to it from the website. Register before 2/8/10 to avoid late fees.
The ski-o championships are nestled in a week's worth of ski-o events. The ski-o festival starts on Thursday, 2/11/10, with a Middle-distance event at Morse Farm, VT. There will be an opportunity to ski this course again (or for the first time) on Friday, as well. Then the action moves to Beaver Brook Farm, for the US Championships Middle Distance. After the awards and social event Saturday night, we move on to Craftsbury VT for the Long Distance Championship event, on Sunday. The ski-o festival finishes up with a US team fundraiser sprint (multiple runs are encouraged! There will be a prize for the fastest time of the day), in Chester VT, on Monday, and then on Tuesday, another Middle distance event at Grafton Ponds. Monday is a holiday, so you should make the most of your time off and come race at what promises to be one of the biggest, best-attended, best-run events on the east coast in many years! Spread the word, and come on by to show off your mad navigating skills! E-punching will be used, rental sticks are available, and rental map holders are also available. Support your northeastern O clubs, and come to the champs! |
