142? shit, you're getting close to me. and <5% bodyfat? for an elite ultra runner, what is your goal? at what point does it start to negatively effect your body? curious!

the weight is correct. the body fat % is close but could be off as much as 2%. my goal is to stay around 5-7% and for races drop a bit.. say to 4%. the negative effect is when you can't maintain your power/strength/muscular endurance and or mass. i'm not even close to that yet.

keep in mind lance armstrong hits the tour, a 21 day endurance event at 3% body fat. our fat stores are pretty impressive. consider power to weight. 1 extra lb costs about 2secs/mile running, that extra 5 lbs represents about 10 secs per mile.

basically this is an experiment on myself. so far i have had no negative effects. email or call and we can discuss further!!
