trav: Well go lighter on it then. The idea is to get your knee to remember that it has load bearing responsibilities and that it can't just duck out at the first sign of trouble. But your knee is seriously buggered. So be patient, glasshoppa. Even if your knee only takes 5 pounds of your total body weight for the first week and you bear the load almost completely by letting yourself down (slowly!) with your arms, you're still forcing your knee to remember its duties through the whole range of motion. And by range of motion, I mean 6 inches of dip. That's all you need. Nice steady motion. Now, carry on.

Yes I need to remind myself that even a small amount of weight on it is important. Just did my set for today (but v. limited load bearing weight).
