Wyatt: Imagine if you suddenly got one of those, for which you'd have to find another 40+ hours a week. Yikes.

Sounds like you've got to cut something. Not sure what you're doing for the US Team, or if you really need to learn Linear Algebra right now, but I'd rather see one of those dropped than to have you totally lose it...

As for fixing and selling the house, I do know a realtor... ;)

Good luck!

Wyatt: Are you old enough for this to count as a mid life crisis ?

#  Posted 2010-02-05 09:08:31
bshields: If you ever want to discuss linear algebra, just let me know. Or there's probably some sort of invocation you can mutter and the spirit of Ian will be with you.

bshields: And do you need any help moving?

#  Posted 2010-02-05 09:56:44
j-man: We have enjoyed the largely free assistance of kind friends too often for moving. If we move, you and Ross are not going to be involved! Linear algebra, on the other hand.... :)

j-man: As for a midlife crisis... as I am aging by the day, I might be too old for this to be a midlife crisis.

#  Posted 2010-02-05 18:49:15
Sswede: Not a crisis...but a "transition". Or "transformation"? Or as a friend calls it, an "AFGO"- Another F#$%^ Growth Opportunity.

speedy: And don't forget, life starts at 40 ... again :) So, you still have some time to spend before it happens.

Anyway, be strong.

z-man: I felt like that once, but lived. You will pull through, it will just happen.

kwilliams: You are not old, just wise (and getting wiser it seems - linear algebra?). If there is any way Jase and I can help, you only need to ask...but other than that...hopefully the days will get brighter as the spring comes!

Rosstopher: Seems a little arbitrary to not let us help you and Dasha move. Friends like to help other friends move, it's kinda what friends do :) I suggest you relax your restrictions. Lot's of sympathy and empathy for the rough patch though...
