You ran (and navigated, apparently :) at 7 min/km consistently this weekend. That's impressive!

I think your future hunting pursuits should consist of running down the deer (or turkey) and killing them with your bare hands!

Seriously, for a good woods work-out, just chase a deer for a while (NOT on the campus map, as you'll spook them out on a road in front of a car)...it is surprisingly fun. As you know, they can be lazy--going over the next inter-visibility (IV) line and stopping...

This was a signature move of a crazy classmate of mine on the team.

Well sir, I certainly do need to learn how to orienteer at the faster pace. I was SLOPPY and I made some rookie mistakes; I still have to do a complete analysis of the weekend, but while my times weren't terrible; I was squandering away chunks of time out on the course to stupid mistakes.

I was happy with alot of my legs, but there were quite a few were I had to take a deep breath and cross my fingers that I had found the right control.

There you are! NICE JOB!! WAY TO GO, KEITH!! Sometimes the O-Force is just with you. ;-)

That's one USA jersey. Now see if you can earn yourself another one.

Jon, who was the deer-chaser? Colin?
