Discussion: 12 days and counting....

...until the 1000 Day kicks off! This time around we're having a different take on things and are leading off with a sprint race, instead of the traditional Stampede. Being a sprint, you want something fast, and we have optimized that by choosing some very unusual Faerie Terrain. The date makes it unlikely that you will see any actual, living faeries--though it can't be ruled out--however cattle could be abundant, and anyone who is moving lethargically and looking crippled could be set upon by attack badgers. The race will feature some nice contour details, only a little up little down, and some fine running possibilities. And, if everyone shows up who indicated on their entry form their intent to race the first day, then we're going to have a big and talented group of sprinters vying for opening honors.

We may even have to scrounge up a prize, which we weren't planning to do.

But don't worry, if we do have a prize, it won't be much. That's another time honored 1000 Day tradition. ; )
