I am still amazed you can just go out and run a 10 mile race. At this point I don't think I could.
If you did not cramp up you would probably beat me. What amazed me was how bad I was; but I think the 9 minute miles in the middle were more about feeling sick than being out of shape.
I've been over that course and it's hilly. You did pretty well; even with going out a bit too fast for your current shape.
